Entries are now open for British Shooting’s 2018 Target Sprint GB Team and Squad Selection.
Following the fantastic success of the 2017 season, where our GB team of athletes and coaches performed superbly, we are thrilled to open opportunity for 2018 Junior and Senior international representation and to join our rolling GB Squad for the next 6-month period.
British Shooting will be selecting GB teams for the ISSF World Championships in Korea and other International competitions deemed relevant for athlete improvement and development.
Athletes will be required to:
Compete at either or both GB selection qualification events, where they will need to attain the Minimum Qualification Time and/or be placed in the top 3 of their age and gender category at each of the GB selection qualification events.

Junior and senior athletes will be invited to a day of their choice, to compete at the GB Final Selection weekend. This is to accommodate athletes as much as possible, due to the NSRA British Airgun Championships the same weekend. Unfortunately, this date clash was unavoidable.
#GB Final Selection Weekend- 14th or 15th April 2018 @Yate Outdoor Sports Complex
Athletes will race twice on the same day under current ISSF Rules. (The current ISSF Rules click here). Their fastest time will be recorded on the final ranking for the weekend. From these performances on the final ranking and any other information deemed relevant by the Selection Panel to ensure selected athletes have the best medal winning potential, Target Sprint GB team and squad will be selected.
