We’re pleased to announce Mark Lodge as the Target Sprint GB Squad Sprint Coach.
Mark, is based at the UK’s first Target Sprint Regional Centre, Yate Outdoor Sports Complex, and was introduced to the sport 12 months ago. From that point until the present day he has been sharing his knowledge and expertise with us, helping our coaching team prepare athletes to deliver excellent Target Sprint performances.
He brings enthusiasm in abundance and valuable skills in the ‘sprint’ element to the newly formed GB Squad. This an important piece in the jigsaw puzzle completing the full picture of Target Sprint.
Coming to us highly recommended by his peers in the athletics world, Mark has also recently returned from Canada where he supported GB athletes at the Invictus Games.
Ahead of the first GB Squad training weekend in November, we are thrilled to have Mark as part of the coaching team. It’s our mission to support our GB athletes, coaches and supporters on and off the field of play to the best of our ability, in order to give them the best opportunity to excel on the international stage, helping to fly our flag with pride in the wonderful “Sport For All.”
