Target Sprint….

Due to Covid-19 and venue availability, sadly we announce that the World Tour Target Sprint 2020 British Open (29-31 July) has been cancelled. This joins the news that the WTTS Italian Open and WTTS Final to be held in Germany are also cancelled.

Hamish McInnes, British Shooting CEO said: “Whilst we are disappointed that we won’t be hosting a World Tour Qualifying event this year, we look forward to working with the ISSF and fellow National Federations to continue to develop the World Tour Target Sprint and planning for the 2021 season. Stay healthy, stay safe.”

Unfortunately, British Shooting have taken the decision to cancel all remaining Target Sprint Super League and National Series events including the British Championships and National Series Final, which were due to take place following the WTTS over the weekend of 1st/2nd August at Bisley.

We would like to thank those who supported us and gave up their time to help in the planning stages of these events.

However, we at British Shooting are continuing to monitor the situation and are in close contact with our Regional Centres, Hubs and Event Coordinators. Depending on the development of Covid-19 and UK Government advice issued, we will look to support events and opportunities as the pandemic comes under control with the health and safety of all involved in the forefront of any plans.

We at British Shooting are looking positively forwards and towards 2021. Watch out on this website and on our facebook page @TargetSprintGB over the Easter weekend for an exciting opportunity we have planned for the autumn.

And early next week we will be announcing the provisional 2021 Target Sprint Super League and National Series events calendar.
