The British Shooting Masterclass programme continues following the success of 2019’s Spring and Autumn Masterclasses. We’re delighted to be able to deliver this Masterclass in partnership with Target Sprint Burntwood and thank Janine Bradbury and her team for supporting this exciting event.
“Putting the Sprint in Target Sprint” is a one-day masterclass held at the world-famous Birmingham Alexander Stadium home to Birchfield Harriers Athletics Club on Sunday 1st March.
Keith Holt, world class athletics coach will be leading the day which will be a mixture of practical and relaxed interactive downtime sessions. Keith has a glittering career, coaching athletes from grassroots to World Class/Olympic level.
The masterclass participants will take away their own physical testing assessment information covering endurance, speed and agility to help them develop and shape their personal training plans safely and effectively preventing injury. As well as much more such as exercises and techniques which have benefited Olympic athletes in the past and to the present day.
The iconic world-famous venue of Alexander Stadium is an international-standard athletics venue that hosts major events, such as the Diamond League series and British Championships. It is the venue for the upcoming Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games with a current capacity of 12,700 and planned permanent capacity of 20,00 post Games.
It is also home to the UK’s premiere athletics club, “Birchfield Harriers,” which has been represented at every summer Olympics bar one since 1908. https://www.birchfieldharriers.com/about

This Masterclass is open to all athletes who have attained a Target Sprint Safety Certificate in 2018, 2019, 2020. The cost of the day for athlete participants is £35 +booking fee, and includes the use of all the facilities for at Alexander Stadium for the Masterclass.

Are you a coach or interested individual?
Subject to space availability, coach observers and interested individuals are welcome to observe the day. Target Sprint Leaders and Educators will be given priority. The cost of the day for Observers is £20, payable on the day by cash or cheque.
