How would you like the opportunity to compete in an exciting new sport on the world stage?
British Shooting is giving junior athletes around the country the opportunity to take part in the discipline Target Sprint and we will be selecting a small junior team for the World Championships in Suhl, Germany (23-25 June 2017).
To be in with a chance of qualifying for selection to the World Championships, you must register and compete in one of the following ranking events (athletes are eligible to take part one, two or all three events):
- Event One: Rugeley Rifle Club, Staffordshire, 11 March 2017. Click here to enter.

How Ranking Will Work:
Each athlete’s fastest time posted at one of the three events will make up a ranking list.
The Top 10 available ranked Junior Females and Top 10 available ranked Junior Males will be invited to the Final Ranking Day, (this is compulsory for World Championship 2017 selection).
The ISSF Schedule for the Target Sprint World Champs has come out, the max number of athletes we could select if they attain standard in accordance with our selection policy, could be 6. 3xJunior Girls and 3xJunior Boys. The next two Ranking events 8th April and 13th May.
Final Ranking Event: Yate Outdoor Sports Complex, South Gloucestershire on 21st May 2017.
When Will World Championships Team Be Confirmed:
Shortly following the Final Ranking Day, the GB Team will be selected by the British Shooting Target Sprint Selection Panel.
