This is a great grassroots opportunity which offers talent pathway opportunities for students and teachers to further enjoy shooting sport.
The Schools Championships is part of the British Shooting National Series and will qualify athletes for the National Series Final, which will be held at Yate Outdoor Sports Complex, near Bristol on Sunday 22nd September.
Gorgs Geikie, British Shooting Events & Commercial Coordinator said; “it’s great to be running this competition for the second year and which opens its doors to any school to enter. Holding the Target Sprint event alongside the National Schools Meeting is a fantastic opportunity to showcase an alternative shooting sport available to all.
“We at British Shooting are also delighted to be joining in the NRA’s 150-year celebrations of the Imperial Meeting. It’s fantastic our sport of shooting is steeped in history, but the future is even brighter!”
