We are thrilled to announce Doug Pepper to join the Target Sprint GB Selection Panel.
Doug brings a wealth of knowledge and experience of Target Sprint to the GB Selection Panel. As the primary driving force behind the North West Regional Centre and exposure to Talent Identification particularly in the Scout movement, Doug’s input into GB Team Selection will be highly valued.
We thank Mark Lodge, former GB Squad Sprint Coach, for all his input into GB Selection decisions. Following on from Mark stepping down from the role, we welcome Doug to the British Shooting appointed Panel.
Doug Pepper said; “Being appointed as a GB Target Sprint Team Selector certainly sits in the top ten of my memorable moments.
“On a personal note, the opportunity to gain further insights into sporting performance at the highest level alone is phenomenal and will help to equip Regional Athletes and Target Sprint Leaders with the skills required to participate at this level, taking this sport forward.
“It will be a privilege to be able to help select our future GB athletes and play a small part in the team’s ongoing success. I hope I can meet the expectations and do the athletes justice.”
We wish all the GB Team athletes and support team traveling out to South Korea in early September for the ISSF World Championships, the very best of luck.
