Super League intends to return in 2022.

GB Ranking Events and Lists

The GB Rankings list athletes’ performances at British Shooting accredited ranking events and at selected ISSF WTTS events throughout the domestic and international calendar. The GB Ranking List is a rolling 12-month performance measure OPEN TO ALL who complete at one of the accredited ranking events within the current 12-month period.

Due to current Covid-19 restrictions the GB Ranking List remains suspended until the end of 31 December 2021 with the 1 April 2019 – 31 March 2020 period of ranked results being the “current 12-month period” until suspension ends on 1 January 2022.

The Ranking List is one element of the GB Team Selection Criteria.

Whilst no rankings will be added to the GB Ranking List in the year 2021 a British Record set at an ISSF WTTS event by a GB representative athlete selected for that event by British Shooting may be recorded by British Shooting as a new British Record in the year 2021.

2021 GB Team International Representation

Due to Covid-19 no GB representation at any event will be considered until after 20 May 2021 when potential competition participation shall be reviewed by British Shooting. After review if there is appropriate international opportunity available in 2021 for GB team participation the 2020 GB selected athletes and Team Leader shall in the first instance be given the rollover opportunity to participate.

Non-GB Representation

There is a growing number of Open International Competition opportunities for Individuals and Hubs to attend throughout the year.

British Shooting is the sole organisation in the UK with responsibility for selecting GB Teams and for organising representative competitions between nations.

Athletes must ensure when not selected by British Shooting as representing GB, no reference to GB is made or evident, for example the kit they wear and any appearance at the event or on the event entry list start list and results published or otherwise.

It is the responsibility of the person(s) making the competition entry, the athlete, the Hub or whomever to ensure the Event Organiser makes no reference to GB but may illustrate the Hub or individual (if required).

2021 Minimum Consideration Times (35mm MCT’s) remain as published for 2020.

Minimum Consideration Times 35mm (MCT)

MCT’s are considered by British Shooting to be a suitable benchmark for selection and are reviewed annually.
